new tv shows
pretty much, ugh. i can see american gladiators being fun, but the budget is probably way too high. i liked the ghetto-ness of the old one even though at the time i dont know if i would have admitted it.
the parking wars show looks pretty cool. sort of like the airport series. however, since it’s on a&e i am pretty much guaranteed to never see it. im not sure what channel it is. i want to say channel 44 but that may have been a few cable companies ago. i like reality shows that arent competitions. and that arent on mtv. and that arent about people being stupid and vile. here we go–i like NON-FICTION shows more than reality shows.
the jezebel james show looks interesting although i dont have high hopes. it’s the same creator as gilmore girls, a show i personally loathe and dont understand the appeal AT ALL. the premise is a bit…but JJ has a pretty great cast, parker posey and lauren ambrose star, dana ivey and dianne wiest are both in it too. so it’s got something going for it. hopefully they wont be as precious as the gilmore girls. and maybe amy sherman-palladino wont have an alliterative title for her next show?
do you remember when you were little and the networks used to have a special presentation at the end of the summer showcasing all the new shows? and im pretty sure they had a special one that was just the new saturday morning cartoons.
i sort of feel like things used to be special and now theyre just hum-drum. but maybe they werent that special and we were just young and fresh? as usual, im going with the answer “combo”
