i’m starting to worry a little bit. how long do you think brad is going to be willing to stand back and let angelina hog the spotlight? i was gonna say how long will he let her wear the pants, but then i thought that was sexist. but i wanted to let you know that i thought of it. anyway, i do wonder…when the stars fade from their eyes, do you think he’ll be able to handle her dominating every public move? i worry about these things. ange, you may want to think about letting brad be a man every once in a while. we all know that youre in charge but you have to let the dude keep his pride. (HAHA at the exact moment i was typing “pride” someone on the food network said “weiners”)

congratulations are in order for the jolie-pitt family! while i never realized that shiloh was a namibian name, it’s nice enough. why do i have so much hope for this family? because they are scary beautiful? perhaps. anyway, i think their best bet is for angelina to retire from acting and to move into ambassadorship (is that a word?) because she cant really seem to keep from sleeping with her costars. i would suggest that brad and angelina just make movies together for the rest of their lives, but having just seen mr. and mrs. smith recently i cant really suggest that as a viable career move for either one of them. yuck.

according to a link posted today on “this is really happening” angelina jolie is going to buy a fake ethiopia from richard branson in dubai and make it a fair trade paradise for hundreds of africans. from what i gather, richard branson is making a pretend world that’s just like the real world. except smaller and flat, i presume. this sort of reminds me of a ray bradbury story. not any one in particular, just “a ray bradbury story.”

this brings a few questions to mind, the first one of course being “why?” but the second one being who are these “hundreds” that she is making a “fair-trade paradise” for? will it be a lottery system? is she going to make “angelopia” into a big factory town? does that mean she’s starting a clothing line? ooh, i hope it’s a makeup line. basically, i have to say, this just sounds like a really bad idea. i think that baby in her womb is leeching all of her brains and she may want to wait until he/she/it is in school before she starts to make these decisions. that’s how old my nieces were before my sister recovered her brain capacity. im just saying…

i am very happy this afternoon because i just learned that brad pitt is applying to adopt angelina jolie’s kids. i dont know why it makes me happy, it just does. wow, i certainly hope the application is approved. i guess i like it because it’s such a big commitment on their parts. at least i hope that it is, you know, for the children’s sake. am i giving brad and angelina too much credit? she seems like a good mom. i really like this couple. i dont know if it’s because theyre so beautiful or what. i was never a big jennifer aniston fan (do you think when kids were being mean to her when she was little they called her “jennifer anus-tongue”?) (eew, that’s pretty gross)
